Well Said Uncle Jimbo

From Blackfive:

Dems & White Flag Republicans disgrace themselves

Posted By Uncle Jimbo

Since you can't filibuster disrespectful, idiocies that give aid and comfort to our enemies in the House, the Democrats and some White Flag Republicans have disgraced themselves by voting for "The p**s on the troop's heads and tell them it's raining" resolution.

Politics is an inherently shameful undertaking at best, but this is low. Passing a measure that tells our troops, our enemies and our people that Congress wants to be on record as both supporting the troops and not supporting their mission is truly low. What disgusting drivel, what gutless buffoonery, what complete, spineless, political posturing.

Harridan of the House Pelosi squawks:

"The passage of this legislation will signal a change in direction in Iraq that will end the fighting and bring our troops home," she vowed.

It will do nothing of the sort you moistened bint, it simply reminds us how bereft of character, patriotism and honor you are. If we leave the fighting will truly begin as Al Qaeda in Iraq consolidates in Al Anbar and the Iranians open the floodgates in Baghdad and everywhere other than Kurdistan. Oh and how long before the Kurds decide they've had enough of this shite and draw their borders for Kurdistan from Kirkuk and the northern oil fields well into Turkey. Having defeated the formerly formidable US military in combat Al Qaeda ought to have a field day recruiting and a considerably easier time finding sanctuaries once we have been effectively hobbled in our ability to project force.

This is a sad day and we must make those responsible for it pay. The deep-seated hatred of W has blinded these people to the consequences of their actions. Just because they throw themselves to the floor kicking their feet and wailing doesn't change a damn thing in the reality-based world. If they succeed in ending the war and declaring defeat they will have effectively hobbled our diplomatic efforts as well. Not that I am a big fan of formalized lying in formal wear, but to have any success in that arena, the threat of force is vital. We will lose that and bad actors around the globe will be aware that the big dog is chained up if the Dems have their way.

My answers to Jed Babbin on the definition of victory are up as a guest post on the Victory Caucus blog. We'll see if he takes the bait.

'W' On Iran II

Gotta save this for posterity.  C & F are the greatest!

Limited Engagement

07.02.15.LimitedEngage-X.gif

Three weeks ago, President Bush made it clear that engaging Iran militarily was not being pursued:

"Some are trying to say that because we're helping ourselves in Iraq by stopping outside [Iranian] influence from killing our soldiers or hurting Iraqi people that we want to expand this beyond the borders," Bush said. "That's a presumption that's simply not accurate. We believe that we can solve our problems with Iran diplomatically."

Since then even more evidence of Iran's maleficence in Iraq has been revealed, yet Bush continues to evade the necessity of truly confronting Iran. From CNN: Bush blames Iraq weapons on 'part of' Iranian government.

President Bush said Wednesday that "a part of the Iranian government" is involved in sending deadly explosives into Iraq ...

But the president Wednesday rejected as "preposterous" suggestions that the United States was creating a basis for conflict with Iran.

"My job is to protect our troops, and when we find devices that are in that country that are hurting our troops, we're going to do something about it, pure and simple.," he said "... Does this mean you're trying to have a pretext for war? No. It means I'm trying to protect our troops. That's what that means."

"Protect our troops"? What's preposterous is leaving the Iranians completely unmolested while they kill our troops in Iraq. Here again are articles indicating Iran's war-making in Iraq:

Rumsfeld: Iraq bombs 'clearly from Iran' (CNN, August 10, 2005)
EXCLUSIVE: Iraq Weapons -- Made in Iran? (ABC News, March 6, 2006)
Rumsfeld accuses Iran of troublemaking in Iraq (AP via Army Times, March 7, 2006)
Casey cites Iran hand in attacks by Iraqi Shiites (The Washington Times, June 23, 2006)
Barbero: Iran training Shiite insurgents (AP via Army Times, August 24, 2006)
Donkeys harboring weapons stopped at Iran-Iraq border (Army Times, November 2, 2006)
Iran involvement suspected in Karbala compound attack (CNN, January 31, 2007)
Iraqi insurgents using Austrian rifles from Iran (The Telegraph, February 13, 2007)

From the Ayn Rand Institute: How to Truly Support our Troops by Alex Epstein.

[A]lmost everyone wants to give our troops the resources they need to do their jobs: the best weapons, armor, provisions, and training available -- as well as praise, gratitude, and encouragement. But for our government to truly support our troops, it must do far more than help them do their jobs; it must give them the right jobs to do -- the jobs that will effectively defend America while minimizing the risk to their lives. Our government must place soldiers' lives at risk only when American freedom is threatened, and during war it must give them the objectives and tactics that will defeat the enemy as quickly as possible.

The conservatives' Iraq war does not meet this standard. It could have--if the war had been undertaken as a step in defeating the anti-American, terrorist-sponsoring regimes of the Middle East and thus rendering the region non-threatening. Instead, President Bush made the war's primary focus the welfare of Iraqis--above all, their "freedom" to elect whatever regime they wished, no matter how anti-American. Further sacrificing Americans to Iraqis, Bush and his subordinates imposed crippling "rules of engagement" (also supported by liberals) that place the lives of civilians in enemy territory above our soldiers. Our hamstrung troops in Iraq have not been allowed to smash a militarily puny insurgency; instead, they have been forced to suffer an endless series of deaths by an undefeated enemy, while Islamic totalitarians worldwide rejoice in our defeat.

One does not support our troops by sending them to fight wars of self-sacrifice and then thanking their corpses. The conservatives' call to "stay the course" in Iraq--or to add 20,000 troops to that course--is harmful to America and its troops because the mission has been conceived and conducted in defiance of American interests.

If the conservatives do not support our troops, then do the liberals? Absolutely not.

Observe that while liberals criticize the Iraq war for killing our troops, they propose no alternative policy that would protect America against Islamic totalitarianism and its state supporters, including the militant, terrorist theocracy of Iran. Liberals' only policy proposal is that we not take military action in Iraq or in any other country beyond Afghanistan.

UPDATE I: From Hot Air: Video: Troops tell Geraldo they support the surge. Notable comments from two different soldiers: "untie our hands" and "let us take the gloves off."

UPDATE II: From The Moscow Times: Iraq Closes Border Crossings With Iran, Syria for 72 Hours.

The U.S. military said Wednesday that the aim was to choke off the flow of weapons and foreign fighters into the country.

The flow will find another way if we don't stop it at the source.

A Sad Day in America

The dhimmis ion the house have garnered 17 cya repubs to sign on to their treasonous resolution.  Afterwords, the speakerette had a prayer or moment of silence for the troops who have gone before; are there now, are going to be there.  What a buffoon! (I only overheard this from the other room on the local Portland news.  It was the NBC station however)

I had plenty to say on the HH blog and will bring some comments over.  I am not happy with HH and DB.  They seem content with outrage over cya repubs, non-cya repubs, and anyone who supports the resolution - see: General Odom and others.

I am telling them to use their considerable weight to land all over all the republicans and clean house for 2008.  Nothing yet, only after the so called bad guys (maybe if they go after all of them they will run out of guests for the radio program, eh?)

Anyway, I am personally upset with the murthar slow bleed move and the potential constitutional crisis that may follow.  My boysw HH & DB have said nary a word about this dastardly plan, preferrijng to rant on defeatist flag officers and congressmen.  I will go to the Victory Caucus tonite to see what may be there.  If I do not see some action from HH & DB then I may have to transfer my loyalties to Jules and
A. J.

These two understand the threat from the left and have no qualms in expressing their displeasure with the treasonous dhimmis.

Wow, Am I Surprised!
Seventeen cya repubs voted with the speakerette and murthar. Holey moley, I thought there was supposed to be 30 - 50!

Folks, this is only the beginning. Constitutional crisis is coming as the dhimmis unfold the rest of their diabolical plan to take over the war on terror from the prez.

There is no dhimmi plan to win the war, only a plan to pull back behind the atlantic wall and kiss the respective a**es of Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and OBL.

Next step sharia law in Dearborn and Minneapolis mandated by federal fiat?

Zawhari or whatever his name is made it clear the other day. We got you the power dhimmis, now you better use it, or else! The speakerette and her clan heard him loud and clear.

Keep tuned to this station for more details.

Night, y'all

More On The 'Slow Bleed"

 http://decision08.net/2007/02/14/the-democratic-strategy-revealed-slowly-bleed-our-way-to-defeat/

Veddy Interesting.  The dhimmis have decided to cut our efforts off at the knees with the help of dim-witted repubs.

Obviously, they can do whatever they want in the House,  Are there enough Senators with backbone to stand up against the riptide of defeatism?

A. J. Has The Goods

 http://strata-sphere.com/blog/

Read it all for a very informative view of the dhimmi's motives and long term, maybe short term, objectives.

These folks want us out of Iraq and care nothing for the consequences.

AQ leadership has criticized the dhimmis in no uncertain terms for not moving fast enough to end the war on terror and allow the AQ carte blanche to work on extending the caliphate (with or without Iran).

I predicted some time ago that if the dhimmis did not move fast enough to satisfy their partners, there might need to be a little message sent by the bad guys, just to let the dhimmis know who is in charge.   It looks like the dhimmis and the cya repubs (need anlther name here - RINO does not work)

I am contemplating joining the Victory Caucus.  More later.

Also, see Jules today.

'W'Speaks on Iran

 http://strata-sphere.com/blog/index.php/archives/3367

A. J. tells it like it is on the Iranian bad guys.  The dhimmis are making excuses for the Iranians, as usual.

I have not said too much about the debacle going on in the House.  as expected, a number of repubs are playing CYA and joining the dhimmis.  Many are saying that this is just an exercise and meaningless.  Read deeper into the story my friends. This is just the beginning of the 'slow bleed' strategy being launched by the speakerette, murtha, and the soros funded groups.  They think it means a slow bleed for the 'W', but it really will mean a bleed for the troops, and the tragedy is, they don't give a s**t about anything or anyone unless it means more power for the dhimmis.

Consider, If You Will

Got this in an e-mail.  Don't know if it is an accurate quote, however, I love the sentiment!

Subject: Lets hear it for Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday
to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to
head off potential terror attacks.

A day after a group of mainstream Muslim leaders pledged loyalty to
Australia and her Queen at a special meeting with Prime Minister John
Howard, he and his Ministers made it clear that extremists would face a
crackdown.

Treasurer Peter Costello, seen as heir apparent to Howard, hinted that
some radical clerics could be asked to leave the country if they did not
accept that Australia was a secular state, and its laws were made by
parliament. "If those are not your values, if you want a country which
has Sharia law or a theocratic state, then Australia is not for you", he
said on national television.

"I'd be saying to clerics who are teaching that there are two laws
governing people in Australia: one the Australian law and another the
Islamic law, that is false. If you can't agree with parliamentary law,
independent courts, democracy, and would prefer Sharia law and have the
opportunity to go to another country, which practices it, perhaps, then,
that's a better option", Costello said.

Asked whether he meant radical clerics would be forced to leave, he said
those with dual citizenship could possibly be asked to move to the
other country. Education Minister Brendan Nelson later told reporters
that Muslims who did not want to accept local values should "clear off.
Basically people who don't want to be Australians, and who don't want to
live by Australian values and understand them, well then, they can
basically clear off", he said.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by
saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques Quote:
"IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am
tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some
individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we
have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians."
"However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the
'politically correct' crowd began complaining about the possibility that
our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor
do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming
to Australia." "However, there are a few things that those who have
recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to
understand." "This idea of Australia being a multicultural community has
served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As
Austral! ians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own
language and our own lifestyle." "This culture has been developed over
two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and
women who have sought freedom"

"We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese,
Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to
become part of our society, Learn the language!"

"Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right
wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on
Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly
documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of
our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as
your new home, because God is part of our culture."

"We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is
that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with
us."

"If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like " A Fair Go", then
you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We
are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really
don't care how you did things where you came from. By all means, keep
your culture, but do not force it on others.

"This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you
every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining,
whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs,
or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other
great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'."

"If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here.
You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted."

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, American citizens will
find the backbone to start speaking and voting the same truths!!

Words To Live By

From Blackfive:

"An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last." - Sir Winston Churchill

Artful description of Congressional Dhimmis, eh?

From A, J Strata:

"Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled, or hanged."
— President Abraham Lincoln

I do not understand why there is no topic available for 'defense' or 'combat' or 'islamofascism' or other titles more relevant to the current situation. If I could converse with the higher ups in blogsville, I would, but I don't know how.

It's The Sun, Stupid

http://www.suntimes.com/news/steyn/251601,CST-EDT-steyn11.articleprint

Dontcha wish you were as smart as Steyn?

I wonder how long before I am bundled off to a re-education camp for sins against the prolotariat?

Irish-American (I love hyphenated descriptions of Americans, don't you?) Global Warming heritc arrested on golf course defying ban on outdoor activity that gives off GW gases.  The felon tried to explain to the algor regiment that he can't help himself.  He is very old and every time he swings, he farts.  No matter they say,  The gas meter installed on the third tee detected the activity and, thankfully, the algor regiment was on patrol in their Chevy Tahoe (the algor regiment is absolved of this mortal sin as it is necessary for them to move about quickly to catch the perps [this is also true of dhimmi politicians and other political hierarchy]).

Four months in the RE-ED Camp will take care of this guy said Judge Ellen Goodman, as she warmed her buns from the pile of thermally heated rocks in the corner of the courtroom.  I hope everyone reads about this on the town bulletin board and learns a lesson (no mo newspapers to spread the story, unfortunately.  This is not the result of the eco-friendlies halting the murder of trees for paper, they just all went bankrupt cause nobody read them anymore.)

Enough ranting, enough I say!

Are We There Yet, Daddy 'W'?

http://www.julescrittenden.com/2007/02/10/how-very-interesting/

Jules does it again as do the various folks he links to in the post.  Read them all.

Fascinating stuff.

I wonder when we will actually do something more than protest thru the Swiss embassy.  I'm sure that scared the hell out of the mullahs.  Way to go 'W'.

I do not know why the 'W' does not spring the trap set for the mullahs that allowed them to do their dirty thing in Iraq.  Doesn't require one infantryman, just a lot of sailors and airmen.  The infantry can finish off the Qod survivors on the Iraq side of the border.  Oh, by the way, what about the very astute Basher Assad?  A couple of MOAB's for the 'B'?

Global Warming Enemies

It appears that if one does not buy into the algor GW theory, that one is equated with holocaust deniers by the true believers in the media and elsewhere.

Count me as a denier, big time.  What I can not understand is that anyone who disputes the algor way, and I am talking reputable scientists here, is immediately labeled an enemy of the state and caste into the fires of global warming to rot for eternity, at least professionally.

It seems that the same dhimmis that are with us on the war with Islam are with us on the war with weather.  Do it our way or else!!

So now we have a political divide on GW.  The left bows down before the altar of algor and the right continues to waste the earth's resources on personal vanity (see: Hummer and Chevy Tahoe)  ooops, sorry Nancy.  It's ok though for the speakerette to ride in a Tahoe, even for the two blocks she could have walked to the GW meeting, cause under the dhimmi plan for Amerabia, there must be a ruling class, and they need certain perks to enable them to rule us peons, and help us to the good life (gasoline rationing anyone?)

Why is the left continuously telling me how to live my life?  How did they get to be so smart?  This could not be about power now, could it?

Anyway, see the below for a different look at the planet:
